We believe athletics are a vital part of a well-rounded education. Adams Traditional Academy offers competitive sports programs for students in grades 5–8 through the Arizona Canyon Athletic Association (AZCAA), one of the state’s top charter school athletic leagues.
Our student-athletes compete in coed flag football, boys and girls basketball, girls volleyball, and coed soccer, developing teamwork, discipline, and leadership.

ATA teams have a proud record of athletic success, earning multiple Arizona CAA State Championships across a range of competitive sports.
Recent titles include Division 1 Flag Football, Division 1/2 Coed Soccer, and back-to-back Division 2 Boys Volleyball championships.
Our student-athletes train hard, compete with integrity, and represent the values of Adams Traditional Academy both on and off the field. These victories highlight the strength of our middle school sports program and reinforce our mission to support excellence in both academics and athletics at our Phoenix charter school.

Our sports program thrives with the help of parent volunteers. Coaching is a great way to support students, build school spirit, and lead by example. Minimal training and a IVP fingerprint clearance card are required.

STUDENT ATHLETE REQUIREMENTS
Communications will be sent to parents before each sports season begins. All students must have a current physical on file for the school year in order to participate. A sports participation fee is required, and some teams may require the purchase of athletic shorts. Families are responsible for providing transportation to and from practices and games.
