ENROLLMENT
WINDOW
Families join us at all points in the year, and moving schools mid-year is more common than most people expect. Children transfer to us because their family relocated, because the commute stopped working, or simply because the school they started in was not the right fit.
If you are considering a change, start with a tour so you can see the school for yourself. You can also call the front office at 602-938-5517 and we will walk you through what enrolling looks like for your child's grade.

KINDERGARTEN ENROLLMENT
Our charter school offers both half-day
(8:00 AM–11:15 AM) and full-day (8:00 AM–3:15 PM) kindergarten options. All academic instruction based on state standards takes place in the morning, with full-day students enjoying additional enrichment activities in the afternoon. Children must be 5 years old on or before August 31 of the school year to enroll.
ENROLLMENT LOTTERY
Open enrollment runs from November until the day before the mid-January lottery. To enter, submit a pre-enrollment form during this period. The form will be available on our website when enrollment opens, with dates announced each fall. Submitting on time ensures your student is included in the lottery.
SIBLING
STATUS
Choice Academies recognizes “sibling status” in our enrollment process. Siblings of students currently enrolled receive priority on the waiting list. While placement isn’t guaranteed, we make every effort to keep siblings together when space allows, supporting families and our school community.
CURRENT
ATA STUDENTS
If your child is already enrolled at Adams Traditional Academy, no pre-enrollment form is needed for next year. Their seat is automatically reserved unless we receive a withdrawal notice. However, if you have a new kindergartener who is a sibling of a current student, a pre-enrollment form is required.
ATB
STUDENTS
Families from Adams Traditional Beginnings (ATB) must complete the same pre-enrollment form and follow the same steps outlined in our Open Enrollment process. This ensures all applicants are considered fairly and consistently as part of our admissions procedures.
