Fundraising:The PTO Council is always on the lookout for easy, quick fundraising opportunities to support ATA and the school priorities identified by Dr. Oates and her staff (sound system completion, Team Sports program support and science lab kits and resources). Here are some easy ways to support our school (send us your ideas, too!):
|Cruisin’ with Santa|
(Norterra Earn & Learn)
|Earn 500 bonus points for our school when you check in at The Shops at Norterra’s Annual Cruisin’ with Santa Car Show, a night of FREE family fun on Friday, December 14, from 6:00pm – 8:00pm. Take your flyers to earn points and see Santa!
ATA earns points from Norterra for sales and special activities throughout the year, so keep those receipts and turn them in to the school (a box is in the lobby of buildings A and B). Watch for news throughout the year of more ways to Earn and Learn at Norterra Shops.
|Box Tops for Education||Buy groceries? Save those Box Tops! Our first Box Tops for Education campaign will run through the end of November. Every Box Top is worth 10 cents and will go towards a special treat for your students! Box Tops will be collected through November 30 – watch for more information about the class contests to come in the next few weeks.|

Dine out, shop, travel and earn with registered credit and debit cards at participating merchants. Sign up and select our school to start automatically earning money for Adams Traditional Academy!|
Have you ordered your full color yearbook yet? The cost is $28 for a softcover yearbook right now, but the price will increase on December 22. Go to ybpay.lifetouch.com and enter our Yearbook ID code: 10539419
We Need Yearbook Photos!
Do you have photos you want to contribute to the yearbook? We are in need of photos from all classes and activities for the school. Please email your photos to Miss Welch, or download them to a thumb drive and send it in with your child (include your name if you would like it returned). Be sure to identify the photos by teacher name or activity so Miss Welch knows where to put them in the yearbook.
We are celebrating a few more successes and milestones achieved so far this year:
The Scholastic Fall Book Fair ran from Monday, October 22 through Friday, October 26 and generated over $9000 in sales! All of the over $4500 in profit generated was collected in Scholastic Dollars, so every cent goes back into making sure this program benefits reading and learning for our kids and our school. A great big thank you to Christie Murphy for spearheading another successful book fair, and to all of the volunteers who helped her make it a success. Well done!
The 2018 Annual Fall Festival on Friday, October 26 was a huge success! All of the kids had a great time and all of the candy disappeared before 8:30! A huge thank you goes out to Kerry Patel for leading the charge to pull this event together, to Jill Frier and Jen Flores for their assistance and support efforts in planning and execution, and to all of the Home Room Parents and volunteers that made this a fantastically fun fall event – we are so grateful for your hard work and support!
Many thanks to all of the parents who volunteer and work hard to bring fun school activities to our kids and drive successful fundraisers to support learning, education and our school community. Your participation, questions and feedback are welcome so please don’t hesitate to reach out to any member of the PTO Council with questions. We are here to help make volunteering easier for you.
Thank you for all you do to help make Adams Traditional Academy a great school for our kids!
