Eagles Nest

The Eagles’ Nest before and after school program offers a safe and nurturing environment to enrich the lives of our students. The Eagles’ Nest will provide families security and confidence that their child is in the care of competent and skilled staff creating a sense of community amongst all grade levels. This program provides social, academic, and cultural learning opportunities that build upon individual strengths and interests, necessary for lifelong success.

Children are provided time for a snack (not provided) and assistance with their homework. Homework will be check for neatness and completeness prior to the student being released to participate in other program activities such as educational games and team building sports and activities.

Reminders to Parents
Your child will need the following items in the after school program:
1. Snack
2. Writing paper fro homework
3. Pencils
4. A good attitude!

Behavior Policy
The Eagles' Nest expects each student to take responsibility for his/her own behavior. Positive reinforcement and redirecting actions will be used whenever possible to maintain correct behavior. To maintain the safe environment expected by others using the before and after school program, the Eagles' Nest will operate a ZERO TOLERANCE DISCIPLINE POLICY. Any discipline resulting from fighting, destroying property of school or others, profanity, theft, or defiance will result in parent notification and automatic suspension for 3 days. A second offense will result in termination of enrollment from the Eagles' Nest program. No refund will be given.

Program Hours
Monday through Friday
Morning hours are 6:00 a.m. through 7:35 a.m.
Afternoon hours are 3:15 p.m. through 6:00 p.m.
Early Release school days to be announced depending on enrollment

Program Fees
Registration Fee
$35.00 per child, payable annually

Before School
$100.00 per month, flat rate

After School
Pay as you go, only the days needed, no scheduling required
3:15-4:15 = $5.00
3:15-5:15 = $9.00
3:15-6:00 = $12.00

- A late pick-up fee of $5.00 will be charged each 15 minutes, or portion thereof, after a 6:00 p.m. pick-up.
- Students not registered in the plan are charged a drop in rate of $25 per occurrence.
- Late fees of $10.00 are assessed when payments are 7 days or more late.

Payment of Fees
Before School Program requires you to prepay for 1 month of services. Payment is due on the first day of the month. Any payment received after the close of business day on the first day of the month will be considered late and a $10.00 late fee will be assessed. Payments can be made online.

After School Program requires you to pay weekly after your services. Payment is due every Monday. Any payment received after the close of business on Monday will be considered late and a $10.00 late fee will be assessed. Payments can be made online.

Snack Policy
Snacks are not provided. The Eagles' Nest encourages students to bring nutritious morning and afternoon snacks from home. Snack time in the afternoon is from 3:15 to 3:45 p.m.

Homework Policy
Students must complete homework before participating in other Eagles' Nest activities. Students will be provided with homework help from staff members. Homework will be checked for neatness and completeness. We encourage parents to check homework for accuracy.

Calendar
The Eagles' Nest follows the ATA ten-month calendar. We will close on all school recognized breaks and holidays. There may be opportunities for holiday and school break camps depending on student need and staff availability.
